One Stop Prom Shop - Alternative Marketing

     Dear Reader,

For the one stop prom shop, we have done different types of alternative marketing, to cover many bases.

First was the Harlem Shake video we did.
We did this to utilize fads at the time to increase traffic to the one stop prom shop.
We created a video game what ranged in difficulty levels through 5 stages, and then a boss. Nobody beat it, but it was still fun to watch people play. Winner received a 50 dollar Best Buy Gift Card.
A video of this can be found here.
Because I can't upload it for some reason, must not be popular enough.

Miscellaneous Projects!

 Dear Reader,

I have decided to upload miscellaneous projects to the blog, so that others can see just what it is I'm able to do in the future, and I'll have them here all in one good spot, so enjoy them!

Holiday Card. A little late for uploading, I'm sure.

A CD case for music from the Legend of Zelda series. It was a sleeve the CD slid into,
but plans to print fell through the floor.

A postcard to illustrate what I would be doing over a break. I had just acquired a few Super Nintendo
games to play, and Genesis games as well.

This card was created as a thanks for showing me and the group I was in how the technology pictured works, and different methods for animating in general. It was cool! Plans to print it fell through the floor.

Thanks for sticking around!

One Stop Prom Shop Went well!

I am pleased to say, I am happy with the One Stop Prom Shop in terms of turnout, and quality of our teams. The videos all turned out great, and so did the video game and the dance. The assembly was a success, and the actual event may have had more people than last time! The vendors for the event also seemed pleased for the event being fun and the number of people buying and browsing. The people were pleased to get good deals and the vendors were pleased to give them out, and make great sales. it was hard work for all of us, but needless to say, we made it through.

One Stop Prom Shop Once More!

Last time, I spoke about my involvement with the event. So what is the One Stop Prom Shop? The OSPS is a gathering of many different prom related vendors into different booths to supply resources at a convenient location (often convenient pricing too!) for students to quickly get ready for prom. The event was done last year, with success. we aim to achieve similar goal, or perhaps even greater.

My involvement with this event is to create a video for the assembly to be shown in schools. Two or three videos will be made, and I am working on one of those. The videos aim to explain things related to OSPS in an entertaining fashion.

Thanks for reading!

One Stop Prom Shop!

Dear Readers,

I am now working on the One Stop Prom Shop presentation assembly. What is the One Stop Prom Shop? Well, it's a sales event located in one area with tons of booths, sponsors and sales, to help students get ready for prom at an affordable cost.

I have been tasked with the video for it. I will be working alongside others who have been assigned to the same thing, to create a video. It's planned to be half stop motion, half real time, and will comically portray a boy and girl preparing for prom. I hope this goes well!

Thanks for Reading!

Yearbook cover!

Dear Readers,

I have been tasked with creating two yearbook designs, one of many which will be voted on. The winner will receive a free yearbook (yay) and everybody in the class that purchases a book will see your design. I have put the two designs below for you to see! I was going for a "though we'll be apart later, we'll always be together" -type deal, so I created small icons of various clubs, activities and types of people we have at the school. Even those who get represented  very little. Thanks for viewing!

Working on a project for a Business

Dear Readers,

I am doing a small series of projects with the ReStore project, which helps people rebuild. We will be making various items, like brochures, fliers and digitizing artworks for them. I am excited to be able to help out!
